Hi guys,
Does anybody have detailed technical information on kernels? What I wonder is the difference between SEMCuser@SEMCHost#1 and BuildUser@BuildHost#1.
Let me explain why I wonder this..
I was on stock ICS rom .431 and I was impatient to wait the official .587 firmware so I flashed .587 rom which is said to be official and provided in this forum by Nabeel in the http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239?start=0&tstart=0
Before flashing I backed up my original stock firmware by repairing it over SUS and backing up the files (this method is explained here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676304). Finally I flashed .587 rom and checked about phone in settings menu. That showed me my kernel is 2.6.32.9-perf BuildUser@BuildHost#1 but before flashing .587 rom my kernel was always showed to be 2.6.32.9-perf SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1. I thought there is something wrong with the .587 rom I flashed and I decided to revert back to my original firmware which I backed up myself before flashing .587 rom. I did it, I am on my original firmware now but my neo V is still showing 2.6.32.9-perf BuildUser@BuildHost#1
Is there anyone who can explain this?
